Ingredient Notes

- Reduced fat cream cheese: This is also called Neufchatel cream cheese, so you might see it by either name. It’s super important that it is at room temperature, or it will not blend smoothly!
- Plain Greek yogurt: Look for unsweetened, plain Greek yogurt. It helps cut the tanginess of the cheesecake mixture while adding extra protein.
- Maple syrup: Or your sweetener of choice. You’ll want some sweetness to give it that cheesecake flavor. Honey or even sugar-free syrups can work, too.
- Lemon juice: Optional, but highly recommend. A little citrus really brightens the flavor and makes it taste more like a dessert.
- Vanilla extract: For that classic cheesecake flavor.
Optional toppings:
- Fresh fruit or berries
- Crushed graham crackers
- Mini chocolate chips
- Chopped peanuts or almonds
Step-by-Step Instructions

- Using an electric hand mixer or stand mixer with a whisk attachment, mix together the cream cheese and maple syrup until creamy.
- Mix in Greek yogurt and vanilla and beat on medium-high speed until smooth and creamy. Taste and stir in a 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice if you like it a little more tangy.
- Place in the fridge for at least an hour to allow the mixture to firm up slightly.
- When ready to serve, top some crushed graham cracker crumbs along with berries, fruit, graham crackers or other desired sides. Enjoy!

Storage Guidelines
To keep your cheesecake dip fresh and scoopable, store it in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. For best results, cover it with a sheet of plastic wrap to prevent a skin from forming on top.

Optional Add-Ins
There are truly infinite ways to serve this dessert dip. Keep it as-is and serve with fresh fruit, or lean into your favorite flavor profile. I’m partial to mini chocolate chips (or chocolate sauce ) with freshly sliced strawberries for a chocolate strawberry flavor combo. So good!
- Crushed graham cracker crumbs
- Mini chocolate chips
- Jam or preserves (try this Strawberry Chia Seed Jam)
- Lemon zest
High Protein Cheesecake Dip Variations
- Add more protein: Try blending your favorite protein powder into the mixture. You may need to adjust the sweetness and the amount of liquid in this situation. You can also try replacing the yogurt with cottage cheese; just be sure to blend it in a blender first.
- Play with the flavor: Replace the vanilla with lemon or almond extract. You can also try folding in chocolate shavings or chips for a sweeter flavor.
- Use your favorite sweetener: For a totally sugar-free treat, use sugar-free maple syrup or stevia.
