This fresh guacamole recipe without tomatoes is so simple to make and has an incredible flavor everyone loves! By skipping the tomatoes, you don't have to worry about it becoming watered down, so it's the perfect guac for meal prep. Plus, it takes max 15 minutes to prepare, is loaded with fresh ingredients, and is a heart-healthy addition to any meal. Juice of one lime(about 2 tablespoons of lime juice)
1/4cupfinely chopped red onion(about a quarter of a small red onion)
1-2tbspfinely diced jalapeno pepper(seeded)
1/4cupcilantro,finely chopped
3clovesgarlic,minced
1/2tspsalt
Instructions
Place the avocado and lime juice in a large bowl. Mash with a potato masher or fork until mostly smooth.
Next, fold in the red onion, jalapeno pepper, cilantro, garlic and salt and mix until combined. Taste and adjust flavours accordingly.
Serve immediately or store in the fridge for later use.
Notes
Use avocados that are ripe but not brown for the freshest and most vibrant guacamole.
For best results, allow the guacamole to sit for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to come together.
Adjust flavors according to personal taste, adding more lime juice if you prefer more zesty flavor, more jalapeno peppers if you like more heat and more garlic if you prefer your guacamole to be more garlicky.
