Homemade Grilled Chicken Nuggets Recipe

Servings 4 servings
If you're a fan of the grilled Chick Fil A chicken nuggets, then you'll love these homemade grilled chicken nuggets! They have even more flavor than the restaurant version, yet are so easy to make!
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 8 minutes
Total Time 43 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken breast or tenders, cut into 1" cubes
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a bowl or zip top bag, mix thoroughly. Allow chicken to marinade for 30 minutes in the fridge.
  • Heat a grill pan or outdoor grill to medium high heat. Bring chicken to room temperature while the grill heats.
  • Grill chicken nuggets about 2-3 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165℉, being careful to not overcook the chicken. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not marinade chicken nuggets for any longer than 1 hour to avoid changes to the texture of the chicken.
  • If you're worried about the chicken pieces falling through the grill, you can also thread them onto skewers and cook them that way as well.
