This healthy homemade taco seasoning is very versatile and can be used to flavour up tacos, soups, or as a seasoning for meat or roasted vegetables!   • 4 tbsp chili powder
  • 6 tsp ground cumin
  • 4 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (or sub in cayenne pepper) use more or less depending on how mild or spicy you like it


  • Combine all spices in a mason jar or airtight container and store for later use. Store in a cool, dry environment for up to 6 months.
  • Use for tacos, soups, chili, or as a seasoning on meats or roasted vegetables.


*Recipe makes about half a cup of taco seasoning.
*Nutrition information is based on one tablespoon of taco seasoning.
*Use less salt or leave it out altogether for a lower sodium taco seasoning.
