Roasted Garlic Spread

This roasted garlic spread is a healthy way to spruce up any dish, without all the additives found in your typical condiments. Serve it on a sandwich, wrap, burger or with vegetables for an extra dose of creaminess and flavour! {Gluten-free & paleo}

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 6 garlic cloves roasted
  • 3 tbsp pasteurized egg whites
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Place garlic cloves on a baking sheet and drizzle with a little bit of olive oil. Roast in the oven for approximately 10 minutes or until slightly browned and fragrant.
  • Allow the garlic to cool for several minutes. Once cool, peel the garlic.
  • Place all of the ingredients in a blender or magic bullet and blend until you achieve a smooth consistency.
  • Serve spread on a burger, sandwich, wrap or along with fresh veggies or pitas!
