Notes
This strawberry and mango salsa is best consumed within 1-2 hours of preparing since the avocado will start to brown if left to sit for too long. If you aren’t planning on serving this to a larger group of people, you may wish to only make half a batch, since the taste and presentation isn’t as good the next day.
If you wish to do some preparation ahead of time, you can chop up the strawberries, mango and red onion and store them separately until ready to combine and serve.
Choose mango and avocados that are ripe but not overly mushy so that they keep their shape when diced.
If your strawberries are on the tart side, you may wish to add a bit of additional honey to taste.
