Sourdough Cranberry Apple Walnut Stuffing Recipe

This homemade cranberry apple walnut stuffing is an easy and healthy side dish for your holiday meal!

Ingredients:

– Olive oil – Sourdough bread – Italian sausage – Onion – Celery

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, and grease a 13×9 inch casserole dish.

Next, heat olive oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet. Then, add the bread cubes and stir to coat. Cook and stir with a wooden spoon for about 5-8 minutes or until the bread cubes are lightly toasted and golden brown around the edges.

In the same skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until it is no longer pink, stirring to break up the pieces.

Set the browned sausage meat aside in the same bowl with the cubed bread. Drain most of the fat from the pan.

Add the onion, celery, and garlic to the same pan. Cook and stir until the vegetables are tender.
