This Simple Green Smoothie recipe can be whipped together in a matter of minutes and is perfect for powering up when that energy slump kicks in! Also, a great way for the whole family to add some extra servings of fruits and veggies into their day! {gluten-free, vegan & dairy-free options}
Serves: 1 large smoothie or 2 small smoothies
  • 1 large ripe banana
  • 1 cup milk of choice*
  • 1 large handful of baby spinach
  • 1 tbsp. natural peanut butter
  • 1 scoop of protein powder (optional)
  • Ice (optional)
  1. Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately or store in fridge for later use. You may wish to blend it again before serving.
* For babies under the age of two, use whole milk or appropriate substitute. Adults and older children can use whatever milk or milk alternative that they desire.
